Signs of NOT "Being the Bigger Person"

It may cost you your peace if you’re always being “the bigger person”. Don’t suppress your emotions for small people. Being “the bigger person” is someone who does the right thing despite what someone else has done. However, we tend to get being “the bigger person” confused with the word “suppression”.
Signs to look for:
-Watering down your pain
-Trying to keep the peace by putting aside your feelings
-Allowing disrespect in all forms
-Walking on egg shells because you want to avoid conflict
Stop Adjusting and Heal

When you adjust, you are just conforming with things. You allow your true feelings to be brushed aside to create what you think is peace. Instead, it’s a form of toxicity and make matters worse.
When you heal, you’re allowing yourself to experience every feeling while getting through it forcefully with the end result being peace. You’re overcoming adversities. Take the time you need to heal. Take time alone. Journal, seek therapy, get a life coach, and heal!
